“What’s in the name?” Shakespeare had said. The quote fits perfectly for the name of the river emerging from China’s Tibet, from Angsi Glacier, where it is referred as ‘Tsang Po’, which is called ‘Siang’ in Arunachal Pradesh, ‘Dudha Koshi’ in Nepal, ‘Brahmaputra’ in Assam, and eventually becoming ‘Jamuna’ in Bangladesh. Rafters learn all this with choosing to take Bhramputra River Rafting Package.

Before rafting could actually be enjoyed, the rafters acclimatisation in Pasighat and Adi villages and simultaneously relishing the visual treats by Nature.

Challenge seekers then are ready to converse and conquer most of the grade IV and V rapids during Bhramputra River rafting like Karko Killer, Tooth Fairy, Yinkeong, Tuting, Pulsating Palsi, Ninguing, Hairy Hari, Broken Oar, Rikor, Zebra Rock, Moving Madness (Moying Madness-due to verbal distortion), Pongging Punch, Pango rapids, with many more in between. River thrill comes to an end with last but not the least Yaadgaar rapid near Pasighat which is where this expedition culminates.

The adventure is as much a part of camping as on the rafts; camps at Pangu, Cherring, Yinkeong, Geku and Ditte Dime make for the time not on the river.
